How to request deletion
Email info@stepoz.com with the subject line: Data deletion request.
Include the phone number or email used for StepOz, the country/region if relevant, and whether you want to delete the whole account or only specific data such as family contacts or uploaded content.
What can be deleted
Account profile, task messages, uploaded images, voice transcription history, family contacts, user preference profiles, and non-required provider handoff events can be deleted or anonymized.
Some billing, fraud-prevention, safety audit, legal, tax, or dispute records may need to be retained for a limited period where required by law or platform policy.
Family Safety Pass and safety data
Family contacts, location-sharing sessions, daily check-ins, and safety escalation records can be removed from active use when the account owner or authorized user requests it.
If a record is part of a safety incident audit, StepOz may retain the minimum necessary evidence for legal, safety, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Timeline
StepOz aims to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete eligible deletion within 30 days after verifying the requester.
If a request cannot be fully completed, StepOz will explain the retained category and reason.
